Meet The Team
Dr. Gina Kessler
Dr. Gina Kessler is known as “the local orthodontist” serving Denver and surrounding communities. Every day, she brings her gentle manner, upbeat personality, and genuine interest in caring for others to her work.
As a mother of four, no one understands the emotional, physical and financial strains that orthodontia can put on family life better than Dr. Kessler. But she also sees the lifetime of value in having a spectacular smile, both in the way that it looks and in its functionality.
Over the years, Dr. Kessler has spoken on a variety of topics at different CDA, ADA and WDA events. Topics have included how to balance a career and family life as well as successfully juggling a business partnership with a spouse.
Along with her husband Brett, she has been a participant in a monthly interdisciplinary study group with other local dentists to discuss cases and support one another in recommendations for treatment.
As family-focused as Dr. Kessler is, it’s only natural that her community involvement directly relates to her three children. A Girl Scout until her sophomore year of high school, she still feels strongly that the organization provided her with the tools that make her who she is today.
With that inspiration in mind, she brought the Girl Scouts to her daughter Abbey’s school and has been a troop leader there for the past five years.
Dr. Kessler is also actively involved in the Parent Association of Logan School (PALS), where she has sat on numerous committees and helped raise money for the school’s various programs. Prior to that, she was on the parent committee at the preschool her children attended.
Dr. Cody Sanford
Having an experienced, educated dentist is important when it comes to working on your smile! Dr. Sanford is a graduate of Austin College in Sherman, TX, with a bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Environmental Studies. He also graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.
He first met Dr. Murphey and Dr. Nalley on a mission trip in San Raymundo, Guatemala where they provided care to a local village. Dr. Sanford’s passion for dentistry began in high school when he saw how a boy with a cleft palate life was adversely affected. His desire to effect positive change for those with oral health complications was ignited from that moment on. He didn’t want his impact to end there!
As Dr. Sanford puts it, “Dentistry is an art form. When you can meet a patient, who is embarrassed or feels defeated about their smile and make them proud to smile again, isn’t that what it’s all about?”
Patients feel they are in good hands when meeting Dr. Sanford! He brings the perfect blend of listening to his patients mixed with a gentle and warm-hearted personality. Dr. Sanford is trained in CEREC CAD/CAM dentistry, allowing him to provide cutting-edge technology and techniques to benefit Towncenter Dentistry and Orthodontics patients. He has the passion and technical skill to provide his patients with the most beautiful, comfortable, healthy smiles and gums possible. Dr. Sanford has motivation and drive and he can’t wait to be a help to future patients!
Dr. Sanford stays busy outside the office as well! As a first-generation college graduate from a small farming town in Texas, he understands the value of hard work. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Sanford enjoys running (he competed in a marathon in 2014), hiking, fishing, cooking, traveling and gardening. When he was just 18 years old, he planted a vegetable garden and 42 vines and produced homemade wine for 6 years!
Monique has been with the TCDO team since December 2003. Before joining our team, she worked as a dental assistant at another practice for 3 years. She started as an assistant, and then moved to the position of Clinical Director.
Her favorite thing about working at TCDO is the family environment. When she’s not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband and son. Her favorite pastimes are skiing, camping, and traveling with her family and friends.
Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, Stephanie moved to Denver with her husband after she graduated from dental hygiene school. When she’s not in the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and their Old English Bulldog named Lily. They enjoy the outdoors through biking, taking hikes and practicing Bikram Yoga.
Stephanie’s favorite part about working for TCDO is building long-term relationships with her patients and empowering them to control their own oral health.
Linda has worked as a chairside assistant for two general dental practices in Denver’s dental community before changing her focus to orthodontics in 1997.
Since 2010, Linda has worked as a chairside assistant as well as the administrator and organizer for Dr. Gina Kessler and the orthodontic side of the practice. Witnessing the beautiful smiles unfolding every day makes her own smile shine!
She and her husband, Jeff, love spending time with their six children, traveling, entertaining, sports and enjoying the Colorado lifestyle.
